This prestigious award celebrates a male or female leader who actively mentors and champions women's development and leadership in the global produce and floral supply chain. This award is presented at the Women’s Fresh Perspectives Breakfast at The Global Produce & Floral Show. Please submit nominations no later than September 1, 2025.

About the Award
Named in honor of trailblazer Frieda Rapoport Caplan, this award recognizes those who:

  • Serve as effective mentors to women in the industry
  • Operate with integrity, dedication, and distinction
  • Are proven influencers in produce and/or floral
  • Actively create opportunities for women to grow professionally

Nomination Criteria
Nominees must:

  • Be a current IFPA member
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of mentorship
  • Work within the global produce or floral industry
  • Inspire others through their ongoing leadership
